GUATEMALA

I worked with NGO Project Concern International to develop a community health training program to promote skin-to-skin newborn care. The Western highlands of Guatemala have some of the highest rates of infant mortality, and skin-to-skin or “kangaroo care” is a cheap and effective way to prevent neonatal death.
